What Causes Excessive Daytime Sleepiness And Fatigue?

I do not ever feel like getting out of bed. I can sleep all night and still sleep all day. When I do make myself get up I will be up for a few hours maybe make dinner or do the dishes some small chore, and than I am all worn out and it is back to bed. Help! YYYY@YYYY

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

One explanation for your symptoms can be sleep apnea, closing of airways during sleep which can lead to bad sleep quality, hence being tired during the day. If you are an overweight person, snore much at night this is the probable diagnosis.
Another cause can be a metabolic or endocrine issue like low thyroid function which can be confirmed through blood tests.
Depression might also be a possible cause if all tests result normal.

I hope to have been of help.
