Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 68 y/o female, do not have diabetes or any chronic heart / resp dx. I have excessive facial sweating, the sweat latterly drips from my face with very little physical activity. I don t sweat excessively anywhere else. I take Naproxyn and Ultram daily for aches and pains. Any suggestions will be appreciated, such as should I follow up with my primary phys.?
I think you may need to check your thyroid hormone levels T3, T4 and TSH because hyperthyroidism may be a cause of excessive sweating. Also do a total blood count with formula and biochemical blood balance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
