What Causes Excessive Fatigue,nausea And Headache After Having Sex?

After multiple orgasms during sex, I can t sleep. I m exhausted and relaxed, but I can t fall asleep. The next two days I suffer from tiredness, headaches, nausea, and fatigue. It takes a few days to return to normal. I ve tried some sleep aids to no avail. Any advice? I m getting desperate!

Hello,

During an orgasm, the brain releases a hormone that makes you tired. During sex, the brain releases oxytocin and dopamine which heightens arousal and excitement. When it wears off, it can leave you feeling tired after an orgasm. There is release of prolactin which makes you feel relaxed and sleepy. Fatigue can be due to a heavy meal before sex and aging, during orgasm there is release of neurochemicals which heightens the excitement but when it wear off, it can cause people to feel really tired.
