Hi I am a 61 year old , non-menopausing female, with a sudden resistance to processed meats, generally all meats and dairy products. I also have excessive gas and acid reflux, my stools are decreased form in side , (very small) yet I do not have diarrhea.
Understanding your concern. As per your query symptoms excessive gas and acid reflux it points towards Gastro-esophageal reflux disease also known as acid reflux in which which acid from stomach enters into food pipe and throat leading to irritation and inflammation. Need not to worry. You should take combination of proton pump inhibitors such as Omeprazole or Pantoprazole along with antacids such as Calcium carbonate. You should avoid large meals rather than this take frequent small meals. Drink plenty of water. Avoid spicy,acidic, hot food substances. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly. You should go for exercise daily.
