hello doctor. My mother who is around 56yrs is suffering from excessive hair loss from past two months. she doesn t have any thyroid problem. she was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea recently. she has trouble falling asleep . This hair loss has been sudden. please guide .

Well around how many hair was fallen.?around 50 -75 is normal per day. Certain vitamin deficiencies cause hairloss like zinc and coper. Did she has diarrhoea for the past 2 months or does her dietary pattern changed to a vegetarian one. If so you have to meet your nutritionist for supplement s.
