What Causes Excessive Irritation And Watering Of Left Eye?

I have dealt with one (my left) eye for many years. My ophthalmologist cannot find a reason...other than he has said it might be the shape of my eye. The eye is small and flat...and EVERYTHING irritates it!! The right eye is normal...no excessive watering. I am ready to see a specialist and see what causes this. I often miss appointments / parties / just general life experiences due to the excessive watering, where my eye makeup washes off completely and runs down my face. Can you suggest anyone in the northwest Florida area? I am 74 years old and really need to solve this problem and begin to live my life more normally.Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The excess irritation and watering from left eye indicates possible problem with the aqueous humour production or drainage areas from Canal of Schlemn. It is best recommended to evaluate the details with expert retina specialist via occular ultrasound and intra occular pressure measurements.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
