i have mucus only under the roor of my mouth i also feel it in the lining of the front of my teeth it worsens when i east or drink especially thick juices milk. i also have dry mouth from treatments from thyroid cancer i now have multple myeloma it only will come out of my mouth and is very stressful to my body
Excessive mucous under the roof of mouth along with dryness in mouth is pointing towards reduced watery content of saliva leading to increased mucous content of saliva that gets stuck to the roof of mouth causing annoyance.
Do not get stressed as it does not look anything serious..
You should chew sugarfree chewing gums and suck lemon drops.. Use oral lubricants like Oralgel.. You can also drink plenty of water as it can help in improving dry mouth..
If there is no improvement consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
