Crestor (rosuvastatin) can cause sweating and loss of sleep as a side effect. Crestor is the most effective medicine for treatment of high cholesterol level. These side effects are seen in initial months of starting Crestor, and will resolve with time. It is usually taken at bed time to get maximum benefits but if your sleep is disturbing then you can take it in the morning after breakfast.
Advice
1.     Continue Crestor as suggested
2.     Start workout in gym at least for half an hour for 4 – 5 days in a week regularly. Start with a balanced mix of cardio, weight training and flexibility exercises
3.     Avoid eating high energy foods such as cakes, chocolates, chips etc.
4.     Avoid alcohol and smoking
5.     Increase consumption of high fiber diet such as wheat bread, dry date, vegetables etc.
6.     Drink 3 – 4 liters of water daily
7.     Chew the food properly to make it easily digestible
8.     Avoid excess intake tea and coffee after meal
9.     Avoid oily & spicy food
10.     Investigation – lipid profile, blood sugar (F & PP)
If your symptoms persist for long time or worsen then you can substitute Crestor (rosuvastatin) with atorvastatin.
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
