I am a 71 year old female who has been taking generic Plavix 75 mg every other day for about 1 year as prescribed by my neurologist for Leiden Factor V diagnosis via a Pet Scan. He has diagnosed that I ve had a few minor strokes in the past. My current issue is extremely thin skin (noticeably in the past year) and excessive bruising. I am concerned as I tend to bleed very easily for the most minor poke to the skin. Non of the prescribed meds I take on a daily basis, other than Clopidogrel, are suspect for these symptoms per Humana pharmacist. My neurologist has asked me to check recent lab results (normal) and all OTC supplements I am taking. I take quite a few. Is there an easy way to check these concerns for my supplements? (I take Prevagen, Migrelief, Multiple Vitamin, Cranberry, CoQ10, Omega 3, Vit D (2000 IU), Citracal, Estroven, Sr. Probiotic, Arthroben for Osteoarthritis in fingers, Inflammatone, and Instaflex.) Thank You for any suggestions. In general, is there anything that can be done about my thinning skin.
