Hi,

It can be due to excessive dead skin deposition and may need to be reviewed as sometimes scrapping off topical skin can help to decrease the scales formation or developing cracks. Emolients can be helpful when socks or closed footwear may be worn afterwards. Usin zinc, vitamin C and E supplements can be helpful as well. If persists, may need a dermatologist review.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
