What Causes Excessive Sleeping? Suggest Remedies

I am excessively tired. I get up have breakfast and if I have to go back to my room I am out like a light for hours. Reading also puts me to sleep but I am not taking naps I sleep for hours. As a mother I try to push through because with children and a home things need to get done. This is a recent development and this has never happened before I am getting worried.

Emergency Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would advise that you should follow a regular exercise schedule. You should go for daily yoga and aerobic exercises.

I would also suggest that you should get following investigations done :-
1. Thyroid profile.
2. Serum electrolytes.
3. Hemoglobin levels.

You should eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Also maintain your hydration.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
