What Causes Excessive Sweating Along With Palpitations And Tinnitus?
recently had a bad heart episode symptoms were excessive sweating, sudden rapid heartbeat, pressure in chest, felt blood flow pulsating to head, loud ringing in ears, couldn t move ,lasted one to three minutes. on heart monitor . Are these symptoms of Atypical atrial flutter or av nodal reentrant Tachycardia?
Since you had excessive sweating along with palpitations, you are suggested to get a thorough cardiac check up done. Get CBC, lipid function tests, stress tests, ECG, Echo, Urinalysis done to detect any developing CAD. Clinical examination & the reports will confirm if it is sinus tachycardia or AF, etc. For loud ringing in your ears get your ears clinically examined to detect partial or complete perforation of your ear drum. You will have to take audiometry test along with imaging tests. Your treatment (medicines, surgery or hearing aids) will depend on the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
