Son was out for a meal, said he was hot then said i,m extremely hot Ifeel like I,m going to faint, his face and entire body was covered with sweat. He Started to stare, cureled his arms in to his chest was very stiff and slowly leaned to the left. This lasted about one to one and a half mins. Then he was very confused and remembered nothing.
Episodes of palpitation, headache, and profuse sweating are typical and constitute a classic triad of pheochromocytoma's clinical manifestation.
Measurements of plasma free metanephrine are the most sensitive test and are less susceptible to false-positive elevations from stress, including venipuncture.
Another angle is the use of any drug particularly sympathomimetics(Methamphetamine).
