Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Excessive Sweating And Fever Along With Difficulty In Urinating?
Thank you. I recently was playing with a sounding instrument, straight with a small bulb like end. I did put it in most all of the way, appx 9.5 inches - and when I removed it I experienced a very bad but dull pain, which caused me to develop a sweat and possible fever. I drank some cranberry juice, took two tylenol and laid down. The next day I was afraid I could not pee, and when I tried, there was only a light and short stream. These symptoms have greatly improved in the last couple of days, but there is still the dull pain and I think there is still blood in the urine. I can go to my dr but would like to know if I somehow bruised the prostate and if there could be any infection. The urine stream is much stronger today.
I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to an urinary tract infection. For this reason, I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound, a urine analysis and kidney function tests. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
