What Causes Excessive Sweating And Sleepiness?

I am a male 57 years old, in very good health, no health problems, quite fit. I am experiencing heavy sweating while sleeping for quite a while now, but last night for the first time the room was spinning when i opened my eyes to look at the clock. closed my eyes, went back to sleep and everything was okay. Happened a few times though. Should I just go back to sleep if it happens again tonight? is it related to the night sweats? Kind Regards Gilbert
