Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:
1) You may also eat six smaller meals rather than three meals a day.
2) Try to limit salt. Consuming foods and beverages high in salt can increase fluid retention.
3) Try to avoid
monosodium glutamate (MSG) which is present in some pre-packaged food products and prepared restaurant fast foods.
4) Try to avoid foods and beverages that contain caffeine, such as chocolate, coffee, tea and certain soft drinks et cetera.
5) Stop smoking and try to manage stress and
anxiety.
