My daughter is 51 and she has constant sweats. Was only at night now it s all the time. She said blood work was ok. She does have COPD. All her life she has had breathing problems. What could be the problem? She cannot gain weight. Very thin. Sleeps alot, when not working. She takes nerve meds.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
As per your history is concerned her symptom has lots of pathological reasons so before telling you something we need to ruled out some common pathological reasons like iron and vitamin b complex .check both if found any deficit give iron injection and vitamin B 12 injection 3 times weekly until her deficiency fulfilled.next check her full blood count with differential to ruled out any infections present or not and also do a routin physical exam of resparatory tracts.next make an ECG and ECHO to ruled ut any cardiac disorder present or not.Next please make Fasting blood sugar and T3,T4,TSH test to ruled out endocrine disorders present or not.(Thanks)
