I m 18 and I have been waking up with very sweaty legs for a while now. It happens even if I take an hour nap. I sleep in comfortable temperatures and even keep my room very cold. However I m still waking up in a pool of sweat. what is causing this? how can I stop it? I am currently on Prozac, Beyaz, and adderall.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

I can understand your concern for the excessive sweating of your legs. It is basically a common natural process in which we find more in young people. It can be because of stress or anxiety or in emotional states. Many a times weather change is the most common existing factor in the same.
There is no pin point treatment for it and I do not prefer to give any oral medications. Maintain a good hygiene and try to change garments daily. Wear cotton clothes and do not wear synthetic clothes.
All the best.
