What Causes Excessive Sweating On The Face And Scalp?

my wife has excessive sweating from scalp and face even when it is not hot she takes meds for her thyroid. Her thyroid levels were done 6 weeks ago and were within normal limits. Could her perfuse sweating be a result of a recent change in her levels?

Hello,

Excessive sweating can be related to thyroid hormone issue. Hyperhidrosis is usually related to an overactive thyroid. It can also be related to side effects of the thyroid medications. I suggest to check T3, T4 and TSH level for further evaluation.
