What Causes Excessive Sweating On The Face?

What causes dripping sweat on my face? My hair gets drenched as well. Very little physical activity triggers this condition. Prespiration drips in my eyes as well and that is a nuisance. In the winter , eg. When I go grocery shopping the rest of my body is covered in a thin film of swear. What is wrong we me? Thankyou, Elizabeth S.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the issue of excess sweating on the face indicate disturbances with the sympathetic chain pathway at level of cervical ganglion most likely. However, before approaching for such comments, in my clinic, I do a complete neurologic examination including that from head to toe and later on pick the differential diagnosis approach as Horner syndrome or others. Kindly consult your doc and get opinion regarding neurophysician consultation need at earliest.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
