My husband just recently started sweating... Which dosent seem weird but he s sweating and his under arms soaked his shirt he was wearing... We ve been in an air conditioned truck for the past 3 hours... When I asked him if this happens a lot he said it only started happening recently... Please help me figure out why and what we can do to help it
As per my clinical experience, the severe sweating in presence of air conditioner environment do indicate possible disturbances in the auto regulation of temperature via Baro and chemo receptors of the body.
The underlying cause may be as: - Severe myocardial infarction - Prinzmental angina - Very high or low blood sugar - Severe stress - Obesity hypoventilation syndrome - Hypothalamus damage at the site of thermoregulatory set point
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
