What Causes Excessive Sweating?

I am a 74 year old female. the last couple years I have am haviing trouble with excessive sweating. not just under arms but my whole body. If i just move around I have to have a towel around my neck just to put something in the microwave. I have my apt air conditioner set at 68. I f someone trys to hug me I shy away, they say I feel clamy--would accupture help with this? I have allergies to many meds. can you please give me some advice?

As you mentioned you have problem of excessive sweating that may be because of thyroid gland problem or other reasons.
Hyperthyroidism may lead to more sweating..

Check your thyroid hormone levels...
