What Causes Excessive Thirst And Frequent Urination?

I am taking Dytor 10, Cilacar 10, Nebicard 5 for controlling blood pressure. I have suffered heart attack in 2014 and underwent angioplasty in RCA and LAD. But now my uric acid is very high, have symptoms of gout, constant thirst, and frequent urination. Can I change my medication?

Hi,

It can be due to diabetes mellitus or diabetes indipidius that you feel thirst called polydipsia and frequent urination which is called polyuria.

You need to report emergency room for evaluation if you had a diabetes. You may be required for blood and urine tests.

I suggest you report there so that you can be properly treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
