What Causes Excessive Vaginal Bleeding After Removing An Old Tampon From Vagina?

I had a tampon stuck very deep and had it removed. But its still bleeding and the smell is very bad..is this normal to have bleeding like this still ...? My period should have been over 3 days ago..and the blood is like very old blood..not really heavy..but it smells very different ...normally I don t have that problem...I have no pain at all..is it possible part of the tampon could still be there..even though my doctor looked very thoroughly with the speculum even...

hello dear..
i dont think any part of the tampon is still there since you have mentioned that a docter has examined you.
it is very unhygenic to leave a tampon like dat.. i will suggest you to kindly change the tampon as and when required.
given your symptoms of smelly discharge i will suggest you to start a course of antibiotics as it looks like you have an infection.
use intimate clean wash to clean your genitals. and consult your docter about the meds.
