What Causes Excessive Vaginal Discharge After Hysterectomy?

I had a complete hysterectomy 2 weeks ago for endometrial cancer. I ve been having a clear watery discharge for several days. Sometimes it s a little brown, sometimes pink, sometimes a little blood--at a rate of a maxi-pad every 1-2 hours. Is this normal? (I was examined last week, and they determined that there is no fistula; they said it was lymphatic fluid, since the surgeon removed 20 lymph nodes in my pelvic/abdominal area.
