Hello, I am 21yrs old and had a big night on the alcohol 6 days ago. The next day I was vomiting consistently, including bile. 6 Days later I still have a headache that has lasted. Can you please inform me why I still have a headache? and how to fix it. No prior medical problems. 180cm tall and 80kg weight

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Post-alcohol intoxication, headache could last a bit longer in few people. This could be due to fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
Kindly take good quantities of fluids like oral re-hydration solution, tender coconut and fruit juices to restore your electrolyte and fluid levels to normal.
In the meantime, you can take anagesic tablet containing Diclofenac with paracetamol after meals for headache.
You should get better gradually. Next time, take care and be within limits.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
