What Causes Excessive Weight Gain After A Hernia Repair Surgery?
Hello, I had a ventral Hernia surgery repair last Thursday. When they got in there they found SIX hernias. Two larger ones and four smaller. She patched them all with mesh, it ended up being more invasive than first expected. I follow a Keto diet and have maintained my weight for a very long time, UNTIL this surgery. I was six pounds heavier on the scale and really haven t eaten much. This is super scary to me, please tell me this is water weight and will eventually go down. I walked through stores Saturday and Sunday Christmas shopping, so I haven t been just sitting around. I ve been drinking plenty of water and eating high protein. Scale hasn t moved? Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you
