What Causes Excessive Weight Gain After Taking Harvoni?

I just finished Harvoni 8 weeks treatment about May 23rd. Since starting Harvoni I have felt like I gained weight. Well now that I am done with it, I am swollen in my whole abdomen, feet, legs, calves, ankles, hands, all over, and it is very bad and hurts. Is this a side effect from the Harvoni?

Hi,

I think all these are the side effects of Harvoni. The swelling you are experiencing is angioedema, a side effect of Harvoni together with fatigue and overall not well-being. You can only take rest, don't do jobs that need high energy and eat well and drink water. This effect may disappear gradually.
