What Causes Excessive Weight Gain Along With Painful Periods?

I am 42, i had an ultra sound showing uterus is bulky (l 76 mm* ap 54 mm* t 49 mm) , anteverted in position, endometrial central, thickness 7mm, large fibroid of size 14*20 mm in posterior myometrial wall and the report concluded bulky uterus with seedling posterior wall uterus fibriod . is that some thing to worry. my weight has incresed these days it is 63 and i have heavy and painful periods . pls guide me on this.

You will have to be initiated on medications to help prevent the progression of growth of the fibroid and to help regulate your menstrual cycle, which by now would have developed some irregularities.
