What Causes Excessive Weight Gain, Swollen Ankles And Fatigue?

List of symptoms that all started about the same time last year: unexplained weight gain, very swollen ankles, fatigue. Blood tests showed low B12 and low vitamin D, first time ever in my life for either of those. Blood sugar was borderline high, also for the first time in my life. Taking B12 and D supplements have helped with the fatigue so at least I don t feel like I m going to pass out walking from the parking lot to the office. Now about a month ago I noticed that one side of my belly is larger than the other. It s like half of it is more swollen.

Hello dear
Welcome to Health care magic family .
I have evaluated your concern in depth .

@ There must be underlying systemic cause for weight gain ( low B12 and
vitamin D will not give such issue ) in form of hormonal imbalance
either thyroid imbalance or others .
@ Needs extensive clinical work up with series of evaluations .

@ Belly prominence seems hernia of the umbilicus , ultrasound
examination is advisable for the same .

Hope this will help you .
Feel free to ask further questions .
Thanks for evaluation of my answer .
Regards .
