What Causes Excessive Weight Gain While On Ibrance And Amitriptyline?
I have stage 4 breast cancer, on ibrance, newly on amitriptyline 10mg I gained 10lbs this last week. there is no excuse, I did drink about 12 hard apple ale, my nerves are shot, my first scans and special tests are tomorrow so that s why I drank. so, why would I gain 10lbs in such a short time?

Amitriptyline is associated with very little weight gain in some persons, it would not cause such a rapid increase in weight.
Rapid weight gain that you are describing is not likely due to fat but would be more likely due to fluid retention.
The fluid should be easily loss as it was gained.
