What Causes Excessive Weight Gain While On Tamoxifen?
Yes, I m currently taking Tamoxifen for DCIS (low grade) because the Exemestane was causing so much joint pain. Now I m gaining weight (10 lbs in 4 months) although I m exercising regularly & eating well. I m super frustrated! I don t feel great either...sort of down & have trouble sleeping. I m thinking of going off but I m afraid of recurrence...

Hi,
It is due to hormonal imbalances.
Do frequent exercises and make dietary changes also.
If you can not tolerate Tamoxifen, you can consult your doctor and ask for alternatives.
