What Causes Excessive Weight Gain While On Trigestrel?

hi doctor, I gained a lot of weight after I startted using Tigestrel.I was 1st on Triphasil & I dont expierence any wieght problems. The moment I start using Tigestrel, I gained a lot of weigt. Will my weight go back to normal if I start using Triphasil again. This is now agter 30 years that I expierenced this problem. Kind Regards

Hi, I think you are gaining weight due to the progesterone present in the pill. In triphasil, the dose of progesterone varies throughout the month and thus the weight gain is not much. You can try some exercises and dieting to reduce weight. You can switch over to triphasil again.
