What Causes Excessive Weight Loss Along With Dizziness And Confusion?

Hi, I am concerned about my daughter who is not getting questions from her doctor. She has had several blood tests, because they clotted, only to be told they are normal. But then told by nurse why aren t you on meds for hypothyroidism. She is losing weight, getting dizzy, very cold, confused, having pain, hands going numb. Arm like a blood pressure cuff on. Getting very forgetful. Not at all herself. She had ultrasounds of all organs, but doctor doesn t seem it s important to tell her results so we asked for all medical testing up to now. I m concerned. Any help?

Hello,

You have right. All these symptoms are problematic. In my opinion, your daughter needs at first:

-blood hemochrome
-occult blood in the stool
-thyroid hormone analysis T3, T4, Tsh
-Chest-XR

Many pathologies cause weight loss: most frequent thyroid pathology and tumour. At first, you need to exclude thyroid pathology than focus indigestion disorders and at least in a malignant tumour.
