Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been dieting for 5 months and have lost 37 pounds. I am really happy about that, but the reality is that is extremely unusual for me. Normal for me would be 15-20 pounds. I am 55, 5 6 and now weigh 132. I am execising, but not more than usual. Last week I skipped a day and was careful about food, but not super strict and still lost over 3 pounds. I feel fine, appetite is good. Should I just be happy about the weight loss?
It's a good sign. Don't worry, 5'6" , and 55 age, with 132 pounds is normal. Maintain it. Don't skip your exercises. This weight and diet would prevent you from deadly diseases .
