What Causes Excessive Weight Loss While Suffering From PCOD?
Hi, I am 27 year old and trying to conceive for the first time. I had been diagnosed with PCOD in Jan 2015, since then my weight has increased drastically. Now dosctor has advised me to take below medicins: Orlisat 60 - help reduce weight - twice daily Glycoment 1 GM - twice daily Ebexid - once daily for 30 days Ferbroid - 1 tab for 5 days from second day. I am not sure why I am put on Ebexid for 30 days, what are the chances to get pregnent with these medicins
Ebexid medication, that has vitamin B3, B6 and Thyroxine/Levothyroxine usually is prescribed by doctors to treat hypothyroidism. It may be a good idea to discuss your test reports with your doctor and review the same to check if your thyroid hormone levels were abnormal any time. This is important because hypothyroidism, when left untreated may also decrease the chances of pregnancy in many women.
Yes, Orlistat (by causing weight loss may help in regulating hormonal imbalance and regularize cycles), Glycomet (by treating PCOS) usually help in increasing chances of pregnancy in many women.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards,
