My mother lives with me. She is 87. She got out of the hospital on Nvember 22 after being disagnosed with a bleeding ulcer, or 2 of them, and a hiatal hernia. She had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy while there too. Since being home she has had non-stop explosive gray watery diarrhea. I have called the gastro doctor repeatedly to let them know I am worried about dehydration because of this diarrhea, but they seem unconcerned. We went to the doctor one week ago and they tested her for C. diff but the test has not come back. Not sure what to do. One of the doctors said not to go back to emergency because she is more likely to get sick in the hospital, which I believe. But I cannot get an answer and we have tried everything.
