What Causes Extreme Dizziness With Nausea, Diarrhea And Cold Sweats?

I awoke this am with extreme dizziness and imbalance when arising, associated with nausea, some diarrhea and breaking into a cold sweat as I tried to walk around. All symptoms were relieved by laying down quietly. I slep for 5 hours then tried again, with same result, and some vomiting after trying to walk around. Again all symptoms were relieved with laying down. I slept 3 more hours, and finally have been able to get up and walk slowly without dizziness and nausea. I ate a small bowl of cereal and am sitting quietly. Still fell weak and slightly dizzy but much better. This has happened to me twice before over the last 6 months. Is it Benign Positionsl Vertigo?

Benign Positional Vertigo could be an explanation, however, one needs to examine you in detail and understand the nature of your symptoms. I would like to know the details such as - age, any medication history, family history, visual changes, etc. Based upon these factors, would like to take things ahead. If it is benign positional vertigo, it can be managed with certain exercises and precautions.
