What Causes Extreme Dizziness?

i have been experiencing extreme dizziness....I have gone to the ER in the past and they have tested my ears, and several other tests including wearing goggles to induce more dizziness but I was never given any type of specific cause for the dizziness. Do you have any ideas as to what could possibly be causing it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you might be suffering of labyrinth syndrome. However we should exclude hypertensive issues, or spondylo-arthrosis of the neck area. You should rule out these issues first plus neurological disorders. If nothing, then ENT should consult to confirm Meniere's Syndrome. For the moment, take vertigo supplement and Betahistine to ease the symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
