What Causes Extreme Dryness And Itchiness On The Nose?

I have an area on my nose that was dry and itchy. IT NOW IS A PITTING scar and is still itchy. I also have a new spot on the tip of my nose that looks like an enlarged pore that itches. It will scab over but do sent heal. I was scratched by a kitten about a year ago. I don t know if this has anything to do with this or not. Any ideas?

Hi,

This does not correlate with the previous history of kitten scratch.

Currently, there is possible skin infection through some sort of virus, bug or fungi which is giving dryness with itching and scab formation.

Primary relief with local application of aloe vera gel and later on evaluation with a dermatologist would clear up the dilemma.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
