What Causes Extreme Exhaustion And Passing Out After Eating Chocolates?

I am 55 years old, fairly healthy physical therapist. A couple of years ago I started to notice that if I ate chocolate at work from the candy jar while I was there doing paperwork in the evening, I would literally almost passed out from exhaustion that would come over me so strongly as if I was drugged. I just couldn t fight the sleep and I would just lay on the floor at work and sleep. Then I ll wake up maybe half an hour later as if I ve been in some kind of a drugged State and slowly come out of it.

chocolates are basically full of readily absorbable form of sugars and nothing more then that....yes its good taste can cause the release of endogenous endorphins that serves multiple functions eg eleviate pain and make u feel better and sleep.milk is a source of tryptophan which make serotonin and serotonin induces sleep too, too much sugars at once also leads to parasympathatic stimulation can induce sleep....but none of them is potent enough to make u feel dizzy or dozzed out....please check for dumping syndrome from internet , may help u find out your problem... and tell me is it just with the chocolates?
