Cannot say in your particular case. For starters you are not saying if it is tobacco or marijuana, both can do this. With either there can be subtle inner ear problems (like a sinus or ear infection) and this can cause those symptoms until treated and recovered. In addition, marijuana causes both direct mental changes and also can cause panic attack or subtle low grade paranoia that can alter sensation for weeks (and less if treated, wtih anti-depressants or anti-psychotics).
