What Causes Extreme Fatigue Every Morning, Frequent Urination And Headache?

Hi, I have been feeling very tired of late, from waking up, through out the day. all I feel like doing is sleeping all the time. I urinate a lot, and my bladder feel very funny. my right side is numb and strange headaches on the right side as well. I have also gained weight, but with that I assume its because I haven t been eating properly, even making a meal is like a huge task I often opt for ready made meals, also feel like snacking often. I have been drinking a lot of coffee just to keep awake at work, and also got Revite Super B Fizzy Energy Injection, but all it does it make me very hunger often through out the day. please help, I am starting a new job next week Monday, I need to be functioning properly. last week had to take a day off because I sooo tired. PLEASE HELP ME. Thank you in advance Ayanda.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.

Noted your history having severe tiredness, frequent urination, headache and so on in details.
I would think of urinary tract infection as the commonest cause of your symptoms as low grade infection does not cause fever or chills or other symptoms.
Hence I would advise ou the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor and discuss well.
Insiston tests of urine and blood before starting antibiotics.
Once the samples are sent an appropriate antibiotic and symptomatic treatment can be started.
Take plenty of oral fluids.
Also important is an Ultrasonography of abdomen and X-ray of the chest.
It is of utmost importance to know the exact cause so that an appropriate management can be done and be effective.
Take a few days off as anyway you are changing to another job.
Take multivitamins, mineral and trace elements as supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
