What Causes Extreme Headache And Swelling Of Sinus Early Morning?

I am 63, good health but, 5'11, 180 lbs., wake up routinely at 3 or 4 in the morning with an extreme headache and swelling in the sinus ( front and back) and nasal cavities.I take excedrin to relieve symptoms.This has been going on for 10 yrs but is getting worse.

hello,thanks for ur query, 10yrs old head-ache at 63yrs should be ruled out with detailed history , ent examination and ct pns. excedrin relivies only pain not the root cause of infection.u can start steam inhalation.kindly visit an ent surgeon for proper evaluation and definative treatment.
