What Causes Extreme Headaches Along With Dizzy Spells And Eye Pressure?

Last night I was sitting in my phone.. My head started to ache and my eyes felt strained so I took a break. All of a sudden I got this intense dizzy spell. Extremely intense. My vision was pulsing, it felt like there was pressure pushing down on me.. I couldn t walk straight. I went to my mother s room and told her to dial 911.. She did and by the time the call was over I wasnt dizzy anymore. It lasted about a minute.. My heart rate was at 130 and my blood pressure was normal. But today I just feel so spaced out and my head aches.. I currently have an infected tooth and I was in a car accident in 2004 with head trauma.. I m just so concerned.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of extreme headaches along with dizzy spells and eye pressure . Need not to worry. The symptoms can probably occur due to sinusitis , ear problem like otitis media and meniere's disease . I would suggest you to take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to prevent fever and body-ache , drink plenty of fluids, have proper rest , take analgesic such as Flexon and take light diet. In viral infection rest is most important thing you can do . Your symptoms will resolve in 5-7 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get it examined to rule out other causes and start treatment after proper examination and prescription. Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist .Go for blood tests as well to find out exact pathology. Doctor may refer you to orthopedic surgeon for neck pain and neurologist for migraine type of problem .
