What Causes Extreme Hotness In A Diabetic?

i m zain from pakistan. i m sugar patent. my sugar is mostly 250 i m use tabelet dia bolt 2mg. but i cant feel better. my body is very hot in a day time.many time i put water in my body. then i feel nice. but in 2 hours again i do it. plz tell me what i m doing

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM. The blood glucose level more than 250, after having OHA is quite high and most probably this is responsible for your hot flushes. Please have the following investigations done at the earliest- Fasting plasma glucose, HBA1c, fasting lipid profile, fasting TSH (Thyroid disorder often produces similar problem), Urea, Creatinine, Electrolytes. Please also check your blood pressure at least twice at relaxed state. Please consult your local doctor with the reports or write back to the HCM for further information. Regards. Dr. Kaushik
