What Causes Extreme Nausea And Lack Of Appetite Despite Having Negative UPT?

I had 3 positive pregnancy test.. Bled about 3-4 days on and off after that positive test... Tested again after the bleeding stopped and the bleeding was not normal period bleeding... And it was negative.. Now one week later I am so nauseous at everything I haven t even been able to eat.. I had to take a few days off work as well... I figured since the test was negative that I was not pregnant or had a early miscarriage.. Any idea?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* A 3 times positive pregnancy test turning to be negative most seemingly relate to incomplete abortion with retained uterine products most likely.

* In my clinic, after careful clinical examination, I do suggest an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis for further guidelines of cure and management if any needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
