What Causes Extreme Pain In Left Side Of Chest While Breathing?

Hey ok so I ve been having extreme pain in my left side it feels tight and I can t bend over I can turn with out it hurting to the point I m about in tears it hurts when I cough to the point the pain is so bad that I don t wanna breath what could it be and should I go to the er also I know it s not gas cause it s been hurting for almost three days now and I m not sure what to do

it may be due to gastritis.or else it may be a chest pain.you have to take one ecg and confirm.if its due to gastritis,you have to take respective. medications.if any other changes follow other medications if any changes in ecg.or else there may be pain due to chronic coughing also.
