What Causes Extreme Pain In Penis During Dialysis?

I m a 67 yr.old black male.I m currently undergoing dialysis three X per wk.During dialysis I start getting cramps in my groin and they have to give me fluids to relieve the pain.I ve started having these pains at home as well and they are centered in my penis.I was taking pain meds to alleviate the stabbing sharp pain but lately this isn t working either.The pain is in my penis and not my scrotum and appears to be intensifying.

Hello,

I believe the pain you are having on your penis may be related to urinary tract infection. Do an uroculture soon to see what kind of infection is it and what to take to treat it. Don't take any medications because you are dialysis.
