What Causes Extreme Pain In Right Knee With Hotness And Grinding Sound?

Hello. My husband is 31 years old and he has had knee pain on his right side, it has gotten way worse now, two years have passed from when it started. Now it gets really hot after a grinding noise. He is in so much pain he sometimes drops to the floor. The pain sometimes goes away if he moves his knee slowly when it has already locked while he s on the floor. Please if anyone can help us get an idea of what he is experiencing it would be appreciated. Thank you and feel free to ask for more information I may have left out.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
These complaints are indicative of injury to Inner ligaments of knee. Which can be caused by even minor trauma which he may have missed. To diagnose the condition you will have to go for MRI. And if injury found can be treated with arthroscopic surgery. So consult orthopaedic surgeon, who will guide you for further management.

Don't ignore these complaints. Consult doctor as soon as possible.

Feel free to ask if any queries.

Hope this advice helped you.
